Bodrum - Gokova

Bodrum is the start and endpoint of this amazing Turkish gulet blue cruise adventure. It is a fantastic location with many cultural and historical sites for you to lose yourself in, and one of the best places for nightlife and shopping in Turkey. This weeklong cruise from Bodrum around its peninsulas and back into Bodrum is a week of pure relaxation, sunning, swimming, and spectacular sights.

You will travel out of Bodrum to visit the ruins of the f a Byzantine village, get to snorkel at English Harbour to see if you can find any of the English warships that lie beneath the sea, and visit the serene Cleopatra beach. These are just a few gems along the way to your Turkey blue cruise experience. You also travel to other astonishing places not commonly known by many other travelers, which our crew will explain and explore with you. Apart from your relaxing time, you will also have the chance to get involved in every water sport activity invented, or you may choose to continue to lie in the sun with your book. There is plenty of time for both exploration and relaxation over these 8 days.

Your standard Turkish gulet will take you to Gokova and back into Bodrum. This region is trendy along this coastline, so you will simultaneously admire the other beautiful sailing yachts out on the water. Your Turkish gulet will offer you your twin or double share cabin, and there is always plenty of space on deck for you to find your little coal corner to
relax and enjoy
quiet time. Bodrum is the capital for Turkey Gullet cruises and a trendy spot to start your blue cruise.

You will board your yacht in Bodrum harbor late in the afternoon. Here you will enjoy a welcome drink and a short briefing from the captain before settling in to have dinner on your gulet and getting to know the other guests. The night and afternoon are then yours. So you will have time to visit Bodrum's highlights, including the Bodrum Castle and Bodrum Mausoleum. Later on in the evening, after dinner, you may like to go and enjoy some of Turkey's best night bars and clubs that are found in Bodrum. This first night we will stay in port (D)

After breakfast, it's time to cruise out of Bodrum Harbour and onto Orak Island. On arrival, it's time to swim, relax and have the opportunity to visit the ruins of a Byzantine village. We will have lunch here and then cruise onto Cokertme Bay. Then on to our last stop at Kufre Bay Seven Islands region, where we will have dinner and stay overnight. (B, L, D)

After breakfast, we will depart for Tuzla Bay, where the turquoise waters will draw you in. Later we will sail to Beautiful Longoz bay for our lunch in the afternoon, surrounded by pine trees, a truly magical place. For our Evening meal and our overnight stay, we will head to the bay of Balli Su.  (B, L, D)

In the morning, it's time to cruise onto Sedir Island (Cleopatra Island), the site of ancient Cedrae. You can explore the ruins ashore and swim at Cleopatra beach if you feel active. This beach has the legend that the golden sands here were bought from Africa, especially for Cleopatra. You will also find Byzantine ruins here. We will go to Okluk Bay for Dinner and overnight mooring in the evening. (B, L, D)

After your morning swim and a good breakfast, we will sail past English Harbour. This harbor takes its name from the time of world war 2 when English ships used to dock here, then to the Dalyan Delta full of ancient rock tombs. After a break for swimming, we will have dinner and an overnight stay in the pretty Alinda Bay. (B, L, D)

This morning we will cruise onto the northern side of the gulf, where we will stop for lunch and a swim at Kargil, a small bay set at the foot of a vast mountain. We will then continue our journey to anchor down in the afternoon at our last stop Kissebuku. (B, L, D)

Today we can enjoy a slow start with a relaxed breakfast and swim before we cruise to Pabuc and Yaliciftlik. There will be plenty of swimming stops in the crystal clear waters in small hidden bays on our way back to Bodrum Harbour. Tonight we enjoy a farewell dinner together in the Bodrum Port. Again you have the chance afterward to hit the town and enjoy the vibrant nightlife in Bodrum or choose to stay and relax onboard. (B, L, D)

Your cruising weekend ends this morning. After having breakfast in Bodrum, it's time to farewell your new friends and crew.
