Kemer

How to get here

Kemer

Kemer is on the road which hugs the coast between Antalya and Kalkan before moving inland to continue west past Fethiye and Dalaman all the way to Marmaris, and ultimately north past Mugla, Aydin and Izmir to Istanbul. The road system in Turkey is good between the main centres and independent travellers will find few problems. See where top attractions in Kemer are.

Air
The vast majority of visitors to Kemer come by air into Antalya International Airport. There are direct flights from most parts of the Middle East and Europe as well as domestic connections with Ankara and Istanbul. Many of the major holiday companies such as Thomas Cook and Thomson have flights with accommodation included from early spring until the approach of winter. Turkish Airlines and Pegasus are major carriers using Antalya Airport.

Sea
There was a time when this was the only means of reaching the village as was. There are still a number of visitors dropping anchor as they cruise on yacht or gulet along this coastline, see Blue cruise Kemer options. Kemer has some good shopping options and an evening onshore can allow passengers to browse the shops.

Bus/Road
Local dolmuses (mini-buses) go backwards and forwards along the coast road while the national network of coaches in Turkey make it a cheap and comfortable way to travel. Kemer to Antalya and then onward to the major cities of Turkey is perfectly practical.
