Bodrum - North Greek Islands Gulet Cruise Itinerary
Your journey begins in Bodrum harbor. We will board in the afternoon, where you can meet your fellow travelers and crew. Tonight we enjoy a delicious dinner onboard and stay overnight in the harbor. Head out and explore this vibrant town or relax onboard. (D)
After breakfast in Bodrum harbor, we will cruise out to Kos Island, where you can take your first swim at Lambi Beach. Following our morning of swimming and enjoying the sunshine, we will cruise into Kos harbor. Kos is extremely charming and covered in ancient sites, including a 14th-century fortress.
Tonight we will stay in Kos harbor, and guests can soak up the nightlife of Kos with music and dancing aplenty. Nafkilrou Street is famous for its bars and atmosphere. (B, L, D)
Your gulet with depart early to reach Pserimos Island for breakfast and a swim. After a refreshing dip in the sea, we will cruise to the stunning island of Leros, an island with grand cliffs, small bays, and villages.
For lunch, we will moor at Xerakampos before cruising to Lakki Harbour or Agia Marina Port in the east, where we will drop anchor for the night.
It is easy to reach the central city of Platanos or the rest of the island of Leros from the harbor. The towns are beautiful, with cobbled, narrow laneways and flowers decorating the streets. Why not try the 300 steps to the Castle of Leros when the weather is more relaxed in the afternoon? Dinner will be served on the boat. (B, L, D)
Patmos Island is the first stop this morning after breakfast for a swim. According to Greek mythology, Patmos was a gift from the goddess of hunting and young women, his daughter Artemis. Guests can take an excursion to the highlights of the island.
Those venturing alone can walk through the monasteries or explore the island at their own pace. We will stay in Patmos harbor for the night. (B, L, D)
On day 5, we cruise to Lipsi Island, where we will have a swimming break at one of the small islands in front of the larger mainland. Once moored in Lipsi, guests can set off for a day of exploring. Visit Platis and Giolos beaches with crystal aqua waters or head into the capital to wander through the streets filled with whitewashed houses, taverns, cafes, and restaurants.
Other sites worth visiting are the 7th-century Church of Catopanaghia and the 15th Century Church of Panopanaghia. We stay here the night and have dinner on board. (B, L, D)
We cruise towards Pothia Harbour, the capital of Kalymnos, and stop for a swim in a beautiful bay.
Today guests can enjoy their time on the island at the many beaches, including Missouri, Mirties, and Vlyhadia, or discover the many sites in the town center. This includes the Temple of Kalydnian Apollo, the Fortress of Kastelli, or the fortress above Chora. We will anchor at Kalymnos for the night. (B, L, D)
Your gulet will cruise into the Turkish port of Turgutreis this morning, and we will venture onto Aspat Bay after passing passport control back into Turkey. In Aspect Bay, we will swim with the partially ruined Castle of Aspat looking down at us.
Funnily enough, this bay was a shelter for pirates for many years, and the castle was a way of keeping an eye on them. We will cruise onto Akvaryum (Aquarium) for a swim and snorkel. We will return to Bodrum harbor late afternoon for dinner and our overnight stay. (B, L, D)
Today we will disembark the gulet after breakfast at approximately 10:30 am. (B)
