Gocek - 12 Islands - Gocek Itinerary

Day 1

Ayten Bay

Gocek is a small town located in the port city of Fethiye, within the district of Mugla Province. Tour members will depart at 4:00 pm from Gocek. The area is a natural harbor on the edge of the turquoise coast of Turkey, overlooking many islands and bays. It is a popular sailing area during the summer months, home to beautiful scenery, an impressive history and many cultural and entertainment venues. Our day will conclude at Ayten Bay, one of the most peaceful bays within Gocek. The bay mesmerizes guests with untouched beauty, turquoise-clear sea water, and magnificent nature. It is a very private and secluded area surrounded by scented pine trees, making it the perfect area for an overnight stay.

Gocek
Located in the Gulf of Fethiye, Gocek is a sailor's paradise, with sheltered bays, beaches, and islands perfect for day trips. Visitors can appreciate its various facilities, shops, restaurants, all within walking distance of the marina. Moreover, there are 12 sublime little islands to discover by boat and each traveler will be able to find their perfect island according to their tastes and desires.

Ayten Bay
Ayten Bay is a tranquil cove of peace and quiet. With no touristic facilities on its pine-forested shores, it is a serene oasis of relaxation and natural beauty.

Day 2

Gunluklu Bay, Boynuzbuku, Kille Buku

The magnificent Gunluklu Bay is our first destination for today, located 15 km from Gocek, complete with a 500-meter long beach and a peaceful atmosphere. We will then visit Boynuzbuku Bay which is a very popular place for guests wishing to sail in the crystal clear blue waters of Fethiye. It is surrounded by pine trees, and there is also a small restaurant to enjoy. Our journey will then lead to Kille Buku, where the slopes of the bay are highly vegetated with pine trees. It is a favored picnic spot for the locals and its glistening waters provide a perfect location for a refreshing evening swim.

Gunluklu Bay
Gunluklu Bay is a picturesque cove located between Gocek and Fethiye surrounded by rich greenery and a glorious beach. The bay is perfect for families with children to swim, snorkel and kayak in beautiful cobalt blue waters.

Boynuzbuku
Boynuzbuku Bay is a dazzling destination in Mugla, notable for its crystal-clear and rich blue water along with its stunning views of pine trees. It is the most beloved bay among yachters for the facilities nearby which offer convenient services to the boats.

Kille Buku
Kille Buku is a magnificent natural cove in Dalaman, Mugla's touristic region. The bay's gorgeous quiet waters surrounded by natural shade from pine trees, are ideal for relaxation.

Day 3

Bedri Rahmi Bay, Siralibuk

Today our tour will start at Bedri Rahmi Bay, which reflects natural beauty and important historical significance. Guests can enjoy the lush pine-tree scenery and swim in the clear waters. The bay was named after the famous painter Bedri Rahmi, who visited the bay in 1974. He carved a picture on a large stone in the shape of a fish and within the fish there are also six hidden animals to discover. One of the most beautiful bays in Gocek, Siralibuk Bay is our last stop for today. It is frequently visited by Blue Cruise tours, and is a delightful bay where mountain goats can be seen drinking water, this popular location is where the freshwater spring and saltwater meet.

Bedri Rahmi Bay
Bedri Rahmi Bay, one of the most beautiful bays in the Gocek region, offers a different experience to the guests with the diversity of life in its clean and clear waters. The sweetest getaway is in this bay with its silence, dazzling nature covered with green trees, and the view of the islands.

Siralibuk
The stunning Siralibuk is a paradise for people of all ages. The interesting combination of freshwater and saltwater, provides a refreshing swim during the hot summer months.

Day 4

Sarsala Bay, Cleopatra's Bath, Binlik Bay

The day will start at the naturally sheltered Sarsala Bay. It is the perfect place for swimming, snorkeling, and discovering the area's wide variety of marine life. Our journey will then continue on to Cleopatra Baths, where tour members can experience swimming through the ruins that lie beneath the water and explore historic ruins on the land. According to legends Marc Anthony built a Roman Bath at this spot for Cleopatra as a wedding gift and golden sands were imported to the location all the way from Egypt. Our final stop for today will be Binlik Bay, one of the area's rare natural coves, surrounded by lush pine trees and perfect scenery for photographs. It is also one of the most frequently visited places for boat cruises as it has a safe and sheltered anchorage. Here we will spend the night on the sparkling Aegean Sea as it meets the Mediterranean, admiring the incredible views and magnificent sunset.

Sarsala Bay
Sarsala Bay is known for its Blue Flag beach which proves its safety and cleanliness. It is surrounded by pine trees, creating charming views of its rich flora as well as the calming atmosphere of the cerulean sea.

Cleopatra's Bath
Hammam Bay, known as Cleopatra's Bath, is a magical place where the green of the forest and the blue of the Mediterranean Sea blend. It is an amazing location for swimming among the ruins of the queen's bath and taking vivid photos of nature.

Binlik Bay
Binlik Bay is the place where the green of pine and olive trees mix with the turquoise blue of the Aegean sea. Offering a visual feast to travelers, the bay is a natural harbor sheltered from the wind where snorkeling, diving, and angling can be done.

Day 5

Yavansu Bay, Merdivenli Bay, Domuz Island

Today will be a day of bay hopping. The first bay on the agenda is Yavansu Bay, also known as Marti Bay. The name of the bay derived from the quality of the water coming from the mountain. There is a silhouette of a seagull engraved on the ground and because of this it is also referred to as Seagull Bay. Our journey will then lead us to Merdivenli Bay where there is a magnificent combination of the sea and nature. There are many natural caves around the bay and a small village within walking distance. The last stop for today is Domuz Island also known as Prince Island, named after wild boars that once lived on the land. The island is covered in lush, scented pine and olive trees that descend all the way down to the coastline. There are also some hidden ruins around the island, such as ancient churches and houses, to explore, some of them dating back to the Byzantine Era.

Yavansu Bay
Located in a quiet destination in Mugla, Yavansu Bay attracts visitors with its crystal-clear cerulean water and terrific views of pine and olive trees. It’s a shining place for boats thanks to its natural beauties.

Merdivenli Bay
Merdivenli Bay gives the stunning view of lush green nature surrounding turquoise waters. It is one of the hidden paradises of Turkey beloved for secluded swimming.

Domuz Island
Domuz Island is a picturesque spot located in the Mediterranean. Offering wonderful views, unspoiled nature, warm sea, and a soft breeze, it is clear why the island is so loved.

Day 6

Ada Bogazi, Tersane Island

Our first stop for today will be Adabogazi Aquarium Bay. With its beautiful clear waters and spectacular marine life, it is a frequent stop for Blue Cruise boats. There is an inner island just across from the bay, where a hut houses ducks and geese. We will then visit Tersane Island, which is the largest island in Fethiye Bay. In the days of the Ottoman Empire, the Greeks lived here, but after their deportation, only a few old houses and a church remained, some of which can still be seen today.

Ada Bogazi
Known as the Bodrum Aquarium Bay, Ada Bogazi is one of the pristine jewels of Bodrum, Mugla. Sail here to get a truly invaluable experience swimming in glassy turquoise water accompanied by docked cruise boats, magnificent views, and local wildlife.

Tersana Island
Tersane Island creates the most magical cruise experiences with its haven-like views of the greenery and the deep turquoise water of the Mediterranean. The island also features historical remains of the old Greek settlements, which are worth seeing.

Day 7

Yassica Island

The Yassica Islands will be the next destination for today, a group of five beautiful islands within the Fethiye Gulf. There are ruins to explore on the islands and it is an ideal location for water sports enthusiasts. Swimmers can swim between some of the islands, the closest two being approximately 12 meters apart. The idyllic paradise is completly uninhabited, one of the most popular islands is the Devil’s Island. According to local legends, it is believed that the devil chose the island as his home when he learned he was denied entry to paradise. We will then sail to Gocek, where there are many bars, restaurants, and shops located on the promenade to enjoy.

Yassica Island
The Yassica Islands are among the most known destinations of boat excursions in Gocek. The seas of the islands charm guests with their calm and clarity where the Aegean meets the Mediterranean.

Day 8

Gocek

On the final day of the tour, we will depart from Gocek at 9:00 am. The small town was known as Callimache in ancient times. The ancient harbor was once used to load ships with chrome ore that had been collected from mines during the Ottoman Period. Today, Gocek is home to six luxurious marinas along with a variety of shops, restaurants, cafés, and bars. This popular boating area has many fragrant pine trees, bays, and wonderful beaches to discover and explore.
