Datca - Bozburun - Datca Itinerary

Day 1

On your first day, you will meet the captain at the meeting point and be taken to the boat, check-in time is 16:00 pm you will then meet the rest of the crew and receive all information about the boat and the cruise. This 8-day cruise is all about relaxation and slowing down the pace of life, as you sail along the Datca peninsula an almost unspoilt coastline where it can feel as if time has stood still. Aktur Bay has a long sandy beach and here the pine forests meet the shore. This area is one of the best places for Turkey gulet holidays.

Day 2

Hurmalibuk – Bencik Bay

This first mornings cruise will take us to Hurmalibuk Bay, palm trees are rife here and the landscape is green and rocky with deep blue waters. We will share our first breakfast together then there will be plenty of time for you to swim and relax before moving onto Bencik Bay which sits at the narrowest part of the peninsula. In 550’s BC this area was populated by the Cnidos people who started to build a large tunnel to defend themselves against the Persians…..alas they were defeated.

Tonight we will sleep under the stars in Bencik Bay

Day 3

Selimiye – Sig Liman

After breakfast this morning we will cruise to Selimiye Bay With southern forests and northern rocky hills this bay is protected from winds and the water here is still and calm. whether swimming, sunbathing or even simply reading a book take the time to enjoy that this place has largely been unspoilt by tourism. After lunch in the afternoon, we will set off for the bay of Sig Liman a wide-open bay surrounded by natural beauty, this whole region is dotted with bays that have crystal clear waters. Again there will be ample time before having dinner alfresco for swimming here.

We will moor overnight at Sig Liman Bay

Day 4

Orhaniye – Dirsek Buku

This mornings journey after breakfast will take us to Orhaniye here the scenery is unique as the sea has created tidal formations. The beach here is called ‘’Kiz Kumu’’ Maidens Beach and there is a red sandy path that leads from the shore into the sea. On the island here you will find ancient ruins of a church and city after lunch we will sail on to Dirsekbuku circular inlet protected on all sides with amazing turquoise waters.

The boat will stay overnight in Dirsekbuku<

Day 5

Bozburun Adabogazi

Our destination today is Bozburun and Adabogazi Bay here the waters are very shallow and delightfully warm …the skill of the captain comes into its own here as they know the waters so well some sailing here as young boys.. here is another bay where it feels as though time has passed it by with no highrise buildings or hotels the perfect place to relax we will spend the day here swimming snorkelling and eating together outside under a clear sky

Overnight anchored in Adabogazi Bay

Bozburun Comcalik

Not sailing too far on as this part of the Datca peninsula is so pretty we will head out after a slow and relaxed breakfast to Bozburun Comcalik Bay we will spend the day eating swimming sunbathing and getting to know each other. This Bay is well known for the amazing sunsets. A quiet bay where the waters are extremely calm, the boat barely moves.
