Kas

Kas How to get here

Kas

Kas is virtually at the mid-point between the two international airports on this part of the Turquoise Coast: Dalaman to the west and Antalya to the east. It is on the coastal road, hugging the shore, but there are also road links heading inland through spectacular countryside. This is a region with a rich history. Kas has great attractions both in the town and nearby; you can even travel to a Greek island for the day!

Air
There are two airports within a few hours of Kas: Dalaman Airport (DLM) and Antalya Airport (ATY). If flying in, it is recommended to rent a car or book a private transfer from the airport, as it is a long drive.

Sea
It is possible to take a ferry from the small Greek island Kastellorizo, which is not even one hour by sea to Kas. It is also a common destination for Farout has various Gulet cruises that start and end their routes here.

Road/Bus
The National Coach system is excellent, and you can even climb aboard in Kas to travel all the way up to Istanbul on an overnight bus. It is a long trip, but also inexpensive. Many Turks prefer bus travel to any other method of transportation.

There are plenty of car rental agencies at the airports. Driving in Turkey is fairly straightforward as long as you keep an eye on the road and use your turn signals!
